ok I have some seeds in a plastic container with wet paper towels and this morning when I checked on them the root tip is starting to come out of them so my question is do I have to put them in cups until they get biug enough to go outside or can I just plant them outside right now with my soil and fertilizer?

if your last frost is gone then your ok! and yea planting in little pots or cups first is a good idea but put potting soil in it...

I live in Indiana and yeah I think the last frost is gone it's getting pretty warm out here and if I do plant then in little cups first do I have to put them under lights or anything?

I would say put them in cups till they get a bit bigger you can do this in natural light or under lights, but if indoors put a fan on them to strengthen
them up ready for the outdoors.:)

It is WAY too early to plant outdoors in Indiana! If it gets below 50 degrees at night, it is to cold. It is the root temp that is critical. At 50 degrees the plant shuts off. Grow indoors for three more weeks and then harden on the back porch a few days before putting them in soil.

alright
so would it be ok to put them out on my deck every morning at 9 and then bring them in at around 5 for the night? because I can't really put them under lights because when they are inside they have to be hidden in the dark somewhere and does it matter what kind of potting soil I use?
