my whole point of this is i am trying to buy a home but my credit is shit and my wife's is rose's
1. can i file just 1 dept (like can i file my car repo. but not file my other loans and depts)
2. if i file can i later buy a home (with in the same year or 2)
3. how would this effect my wife
4. do the laws differ from state to state (fyi i'm in IL.)
