practicing is fun and all..but i want it now lol

i mean..my nub looks indica yeah? sativa buds look more airy to me (at least in pictures, ill know soon :p)

the indicas and my nub look like little rocks glued together. i was always thinking the nub was sativa and that one guy in my other thread was like no its indica. how can i have sativa fan leaves and indica buds?

my one diesel isnt a bad size going into flower. she just has that one tiny little pistil sight though, so shes just entering it at 3 weeks.

You mention 3 weeks, is that 3 weeks from sprout? (looks like it)
You might want to think about transplanting and starting to feed within the next week and half or so.
Watch for signs.

yeah 3 weeks 1/28 on a 12/12 schedule. i see one tiny pistil on one of the girls.

i guess ill check the roots tomorrow night, during lights on. they have gotten 12 hr of pure darkness since birth..

i might have to make a pot -_-
will 1/4 gallon be ok? i really dont want them too big. does anyone know how bad 16oz will stunt them?

and yeah i bought bloom only feed..i plan to not feed at all in veg and feed just to get the buds to swell up. i might even wait for the stretch to come to an end before feeding..not sure. i gotta judge by how tall theyre getting. i could always get a taller box, but i dont wanna.

im retiring though, night guys. thanks for all the continuous support

"Filling to the top" does not give you room for roots, you need to actually plant it at the top, not just pile on soil.
You need the room UNDER the roots so they can grow.
Check out some of the 'stealth/ micro grows', some guys in the PC cabs have some amazing shit for the space limitations.

i mean, if the cannabis can root anywhere on its stalk, filling up the pot to just under the feed leaves should technically give me more root spots.

i guess ill make some pots tonight and transplant..

but at the same time i want to see what kind of yield i can get just by using 16oz of soil though. im torn

i guess ill just check the root ball tonight, post a picture and see if you guys think its root bound or not, since you know better than me if shes struggling becuase of root issues.

i think theyll be as big as the tomat (i hope). if they get any bigger, im gonna need to lst or get a taller box haha

they are barley showing sex yet so theyre still vegging both feminized

They aren't vegging unless they have 16+hours a day.
They need the extra light to keep the Pfr from dropping too low and triggering flowering.
You would see no buds if you were in veg state, only a few calyx to determine sex.

Tomato we're not concerned with light schedule.
If you have the weed in the same box, that means they are on a flower schedule.
The 2 under the light look like they might be ready for transplant within a week or so, but color still looks good, so I wouldn't feed just yet.
IME, the first def. you will see is N.
Maybe another week or so before you feed.

I see what you are thinking, but your theory is a little flawed.
As soon as they are getting less than 18 hrs. of light, then they are on a flower schedule.
It has nothing to do with what you can see.
Here is mine, my first CFL grow, 13 days from first hairs.
It was on a flower schedule for 43 days actually, because I was experimenting.
.
.
I like your new attitude and receptiveness to criticism and advice, see all the input you are getting?
Not just from me, but from others.
