Ok so here are my questions

Does a bigger rez work better than a smaller Rez cuz my chiller says it can lower 15 gallons by 30. Degrees and 80 gallons by 10 degrees.

Do I need two pumps one pumping water through the chiller and one pumping it to the light?

If two are not needed then do I have the pump pump water to the light then the chiller back to the rez or pump it to the chiller then the light then back to the rez.

Btw its a 600 watt light in a 4' x 2' tent and I have a 45 gallon rez should I up my rez size?

Ok, so I don't really have any answers to your questions, but a question of my own rather... You're telling me you cool your light with a water chiller? I don't get it. I understand the concept, but it doesn't seem like it would be very effective. The only thing I can think of is that for some reason you can't air cool?

water cooled lights block allot of light. Shouldn't need a bigger rez. go Aircooled if you havent purchased it already

Yeah, I saw one of these in the store and giggled a little. Asked the owner why he would have such a thing in his place to which he replied "somebody will come in here and just hafta have it. I doubt I could even talk em out of it."

well i made mine out of spare car parts (heater core and duct from home depot) so i didnt go to a store and buy it that would be retarded 200 bucks for the ones at the store vs 18 bucks at a auto part store... I am going this rout because I now have a total self contained system no air going in no air going out witch means I have less chance of bugs coming in to the grow tent and I get to keep all my CO2 in the tent and no smell creeping out. the only thing coming out is two wires one for the fan one for the light and two water hose's. you can check it out here at my grow journal thread. https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/399282-my-100-dollar-water-cooled.html#post5176982

Ive done grows with air cooling and I didn't like all the ducting going everywhere and all the noise from the fans etc. this is alot more simple quite and clean looking. As the system is right now I am keeping the room at a constant 80 degrees I would like to get down to 77 degrees but, I guess I should just be happy with 80 degrees...

I dont see how my water cool system blocks out light when its a radiator cooling the air not one of those water jacket lights.
