So I applied for my card January 13th and overnighted my application to the statehouse requiring a signature. First week of February they took the $100 from my account. Anyone else care to describe the waiting process for their cards? Also what's Summit medical center like for prices? Do they have edibles? I applied for them as a caregiver with my initial application. How much longer should I wait?? Am I waiting for a letter or phone call? Someone please reply (:

My husband received his approval letter approximately 7 weeks after he applied. Just like you, the state cashed his check approximately 2 weeks after he applied. You will receive a letter of approval along with a letter assigning Summit as your caregiver. As you probably know, you take your approval letter to the Health Dept in Providence to get your card. Bring the caregiver letter to Summit on your first visit.

My husband's caregiver is Greenleaf in Portsmouth. I don't know anything about Summit, but IMO, Greenleaf is expensive. As I understand it, all RI compassionate centers are, but don't know for sure. That's why I'm on this forum... trying to learn to grow!

Summit is not like slater and greenleaf. One price for all flower, no tiers. Prices are reasonable.
