I am a resident of the state of NM and am currently enrolled at a university. I want to obtain a card but I have heard a rumor that a card disqualifies you from a popular instate scholarship. I am majoring in mathematics and philosophy as I plan to attend law school in the near future; ultimately I want to know my rights -entirely. Although I like science, specifically botany now, the work day of a scientist would not compliment my intellectual needs as law would. Drawing to anther question, would a MM card disqualify me from future academic goals such as admissions to colleges or other future scholarships as well? I have read NORML regarding MM of NM but I still am uncertain of the cons of owning a card. Can anyone tune in?
Thanks
