Quick question about defoliation?

Hey friends, my Gorilla Glue Auto is 30 days old and she's very compact. 4 days ago, I cut off her biggest fanleaves because they were covering tops. My plant was very droopy for the next 2 days but it recovered. Fan leaves are still growing and hiding the tops. So if you were in my shoes, which option would you prefer? (unless you recommend something else) The plant's also preflowering.
a) Leave the leaves alone and wait for the tops to stretch and LST when she stretches?
b) Continue cutting off big fan leaves to allow the hidden tops to get more light?
c) (just thought about it) Only cut the fanleaves half way and NOT from their stem to reduce stress?

Thank you for your time.

With autos I always try to not cut any leaves at all. If a fan leaf is covering a bud site, I try to tuck it under the leaves of the bud site as best I can.

Plant is looking great though. preflowers are poking out. She will stretch soon, you wont have to worry.

It's too compact and bushy, not the happiest plant, the branches and leaves should have spread and grown out more. I don't think defoliation will fix or help much.
