Quick question, does this look right?

so my plant is still pretty young, I dont know exactly how many days. its just now getting its first set of tri-tip leaves, but the new growth looks pretty dark/purple. Is this normal? I water every 2-3 days (whenever top soil is dry) with ph adjusted dechlorinated water and keep it under a 28w 67k cfl whose reflecter fits perfectly above the cup.

haven't ever heard anyone complain that their weed was purple before. how old is it, like a week? and you're going to need more than one of those bulbs broski.

its a little over a week old, but i dont think even natural purple strains start showing this early so I am just worried the color is coming from something else. I have 4 more lights to put over the little one, but I'm in the process of building my box right now. at the moment the cup is just under my desk lamp

looks fine to me, my stems got a purplish cast to them about 2-3 weeks in. i don't have the privilige of knowing my strains. i sold some tree for a few years and kept the seeds from what i thought was the best and i've got prbly. 5-6 strains. cute lil plant tho. if you have the bread i would invest in either a halide lamp 400 watts or more. CFL's are enough for the veg, but not the flowering.

unfortunately my budget limits me to cfls, oh well, maybe in the future. I dont know this one's strain either, but its from one of my bags, which have been nothing but fire. gotta love socal

Dude, are you serious? My budget is next to panhandling! Check out what you can do with a few CFL's.

shit thats so many cfls! and it seems to be working quite well! heres what im working with at the moment. the set up is temporary, soon I will be building a wooden box that will have a slightly larger footprint, be about two inches taller, have a carbon filter, mylar lining, and better placed lights. This baby is just the substitute teacher...

Good shit! Yeah, I threw a bunch of CFL's in there, but I'm determined to grow good weed wit 'em!
There's even ways to make some plush as fuck home-made carbon filters for dirt cheap.
