I have some bagseed and its been flowering for about 8 weeks now tomorrow. her growth has been very steady not fast but not awfully slow. I understand that the plants do a significant amount of swelling before there ready to harvest.

Im currently growing a sativa and expect to flower for about 11-12 weeks depending on trich development.

Now my question is will i definitely see some swelling and if so shouldnt it be soon or am i just being impatient.

Here is a picture of my lady at 7 weeks flowering any help will be greatly appreciated this is my frst grow.

Background
Nutrients- Veg: Fox farm grow big and miracle grow.....Flower: Biocanna nutrients

Medium- Scotts all purpose potting soil. Just recently topped with some Fox Farm Happy frog.

Ph- 6.3-6.7

Watering schedule: water evry 3-4 days with alternate feedings.... water; water/feeding; water......etc

oh yeah...you will notice the swelling. Mine got huge in the past 2 weeks, 1 plant harvested, the other is close. I had to harvest another one 2 weeks early due to hermie and the buds from that were a lot smaller. Oh, and you get a lot more THC crystals too.....I guess it does depend on the lights though. What are you using?

normally the later in flower, the more swelling occurs.. at first it is slow and steady. at the end, it seems like they get bigger every day.. that is why it is so important to time the harvest right or you will lose valuable weight!! unsulfrated molasses. 1 tablespoon per gallon of water if you are growing in soil. that will also increase your yield around 25%. they look nice so far :)

ive never heard of that before. at this point I don't think there is any "trick" you can do to make them swell larger or faster. They look great right now, nice and juicy.

So i guess as long as im patient she will do just fine. just a few mor questions. Thanks for the help CTHH i hooked it up with some rep.

I should start flushing in about 2 weeks or so right? Im using organics does that affect the amount of weeks i should flush her. I know i should flush about 2weeks before harvest to get rid of the excess Nutrients in the soil.

Also you think i have about 3 weeks left or i could cut her down in two. The trich are stil completely clear and i know i should wait till there 50/50 amber and milky. Do they start to get milky real fast or is it a week long process. In other word will a bunch pop up over night or something.

Again thanks for all the help.

look pretty tasty so far :p the best way to really increase yield is better lighting and cool temps (about 75 degrees w/ the lights on. keeps the buds more compact than warmer temps).

When shes sleeping i keep my fan blowing on her a medium speed im pretty sure it stays around those temps.... hopefully seeing as i dont have a thermometer in there yet, seeing as i brought her from outside to inside to finish and have been aquiring things as i went,
