It really does depend on the health of your plant and how old it is. anyway if its directly blocking a budsite i would Nix it personally but don't go overboard and defoliate your whole plant

This is a very controversial subject. Some people are adamant about not removing leaves at all and other people remove them. I remove them and have never noticed that it stresses the plant out as long as you don't take too many at a time.

No! General rule is to not remove a fan leaf until it is more than 50% dead. Reason is that the fans have small organs, organelles, on their underside that are a crucial part of the photosynthesis process. Remove too many and your plant will "albino", start to turn all white. When that happens the product is worthless. I had to toss out 6 ounces of cured product because the 4 Armageddon plants had turned white after I removed too many fan leaves. Stick to the 50% rule and you'll be OK.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I always try to tuck them under rather than remove them ;-) .. I have a Scrog running though, but if I didn't I would attempt for move them if possible out of the way from blocking light to buds.
