Thats bad ass man. I definitly need to upgrade.. Im only runnin 2 125w CFL's over 3 plants... Its been workin though.. Im bout to start flowering

ucan germinate in plugs. i would not waste the plugs if you are using shwag seeds... if you bought the seeds from a seed bank, they usually come 10 to a pac and yes jus grab a tupperware container and place seeded plugs in it, dont let them fall over ok... fill with water until half the plug is exposed above the water, let sit until you see some action, add rooting hormone. Olivia's rooting hormone - sold at Planet K is the best.
 
keep them moist, keep the lights on and you'll be fine. don't let em dry up
its gonna take a little longer but they should germinate. (unless the seed is bad)
 
hell yea BRIGHT IDEAS IS WHERE I GET MY STUFF by the way it seems that the seeds have dug them self in deep so is that i sign of them working?
 
all bets are off until u see green coming out the top of them... no gurantees unilt then. seedbank seeds tend to be fresher and of better genetics. I spent $120 on 10 seeds from Doc greenthumbs seed bank (google it)... 5 were female/ 5 were males. thats a perfect ratio. once I identified the males and eliminated them, i cloned the true females... I've flowered and since consumed the hell out of the first generation. I'm now flowering 6 clones in the second generation of those seeds.
 
About your lights. CFL is great for vegetative growth... makes them grow fast. I would not go to 12 and 12 on the lights until they are atleast a foot tall. you really want High pressure sodium for flowering... Its a small investment and it produces better results. I am currently using a 8 bulb T5 CFL, 4 foot array and one 400 watt HPS system. Combining the two types of lights give optimal circumstance for lush growth.
 
okay i bought 10 OG KUSH seeds only have 2 left 4 already die put them out side dumb idea with 100 degree weather i made the hood with a sheet metal ima just take them out and put the plugs in a tupaware fill with ph adjusted water should i have the plugs up right or on there sides and keep them under light or put in darkness
 
keep them upright and just somewhere where they can get a breeze. the light or dark shit dont matter, they are imbeded in plugs... the plugs must be able to breeth despite the water they soak in so dont overfill the container. thats a shame you lost the other seeds... 2 seeds means exactly a 50/50 chance that both will be male or both will be female... or, a 50/50 chance that once is a female and the other a male. the math improves as you germinate more seeds. I have proven that this ration of male to female if true in most circumstances, expecially with higher quality seeds.

should i put plastic wrap over it with lil holes so air can get in i put a fan over it also to make it humid
 
nope, leave the top open, the plugs must be able to breath and evaporate water at a predictable rate, or you rot the seeds. a rotted seed does jack. the light is fine (helps u see any activity) but isnt necessary for germination.
 
if you can afford it, buy more seeds... U dont want to be discouraged if this doesnt work out. I have been there and done that. Doc greenthumb has a seedbank in BC canada. He is honest, and knowledgable and actually has a phone number listed on the site... He carries the best strains + some hybrids that he created. I am growing one of his hybrids called millennium bud, and i've been pleased.
 
update i just took two out left the other two too see any difference heres a pic

is tat good enough or more water and its at about 5.7 ph and i also bought so nutes call supernatural veg didnt add any tho should i add a lil to help the seeds
 
I would keep those plugs moist but not sitting in that water. Moist (not too wet) dark and warm. :mrgreen::peace:
