Hi there

Been a bit quiet from my side (summer, crops, etc.).

just about finishing my indoor crop; been mani folding and scrogging; all went well and in about a month I’m gonna give my girl the chop.

whereas I’m most likely to be pleased (judging by current state of my plant) I would like to do things faster next time.

What’s the quickest way to grow a sativa dominant strain (not an Auto)?
Should I top and if so, how often?
when should I flip?

I don’t really think you can speed up a grow, unfortunately.

Flipping is really up to you. I veg for 8 weeks or so.
I’d top a bit. Be prepared for her :weed:

u mean height wise?
Was hoping to do a grow in 6 months, don’t really wanna do autos as my current grow is really really nice :P. Tried some Larf the other day...what a smoke and I’ve got a couple of seeds left.

flipping after 8 weeks veg should keep me within the 6 months window I’ve got.

I've grown out a few 16 to 22 week gems
One thing I will say a Sativa at 8 weeks may not think its time to flip
They have their own schedule
I just bend mine over along the back wall an eight footer tied down stays there till it finishes

I am missing the question I think but.

Out door’s the quickest is starting with a cutting NOT a seed as cuttings sexually mature already and bring it out from 24 hour light cycle to outdoors and light dep it closing it 1/2 hour earlier every 2 weeks ... Or put out in August it will flip to flower right away and finish quickly.

Indoors 12/12 from seed then shave 1/2 hour from the cycle monthly ... hope that helps

Would 12 weeks be ok?
How often do u top?

Also a SoG works best when you have cuts from the same mother. This means that you are more likely to get a nice level canopy. cut extra clones and only grow the best.
