Would it be bad to switch a plant from indoor to outdoor when it starts budding?

Depends where you live. The outdoor light cycle could cause it to revert to veg which is less than ideal. With that being said, a lot of people veg plants and put them outside in the spring during the veg state. The time indoors gives them a healthy jump for spring and summer.
