Now I see, back in 2011 "DB" was quoted in the Wall Street Journal, rippin on miracle grow as synthetic garbage. BaaadaassDan was a visionary.... and a menace to (weed-site) society (douche bags).

Rollitup.org, a website geared toward the marijuana-growing community, has several forums that debate Miracle-Gro's effectiveness. A user with the moniker Weedqueen12 wrote: "i think [Miracle-Gro] works well." Another user, dannyboy602, countered that Miracle-Gro causes pot plants to "burn and stress."

I'm thinking of the phrase lost in translation.

All these UK people being beyond insulting in the UK thread, ever stop to think that its UK people in a UK thread talking in a UK manner that is understood in the UK not to be insulting in the slightest. All these insults people see in the UK thread, that just them joshing around. Why would you expect to enter a UK thread and talk to UK people and have american definitions and such apply? If I were to call a certain member in the UK thread a gammy foot cripple, to people who don't understand UK humour, that could be seen as insulting, but the reality is that for us, it is not, hence why that kind of stuff is said in the UK thread to a UK person, not in some american thread where the casual humour will not be understood and just taken as offensive. Don't get upset because you entered another cultures thread and didn't understand how things work for said culture. If I were to call saerimmer a pikey faggot in the UK thread, its not violating any site rules because he'd have to take it as an insult or attack for it to be so, but he wouldn't, because that just how we talk. Hence why there is kinda the unwritten rule of just leave the UK thread alone to do as it does, because the american mods don't have a clue what to make of the comments.

Just because someone from the outside of the circle perceives something as insulting, doesn't mean it is. Its been long proven through yanks jumping into the UK threads that they don't have a clue about how to understand what they're reading.
