no dont wait for the first set of balls to bust, set some foil to collect underneath and wait, when the top busts youll get a TON of pollen. pollen will still be viable at room tem for a few day(even up to a week or 2) pollen can be frozen but i dont recommend it(condensation will kill it when you unthaw) after you let it dry for 24 hours just wrap it up in foil and lable it and put it in the fridge. i have had pollen stay good for 6 months before.

youll need a fair amount of pollen to get a good amount of seeds. i have had weak males straight up bust in the flower room before and all i could find was a couple immature seeds at harvest.

dont try to collect pollen that is from an unopened flower it wont work.(at least not well if at all)

yea the only spot available is a small closet next to the grow room,i'll see wat i get and if one really sticks out i'll chk it out.if i plan on buyin future beans from may as well seed a branch, maybe get enuff pollen before many girls flower..wen i pollenate i'll remove it from the room ,put a trash bag over it with a hole for one branch to go through,i'll use a small paint brush and lightly dip and brush,remove the bag and put back in the room.sounds like a plan.

we'll see wat happens..once i tried it on a grow but i did somethin wrong and got 4 or 5 seeds,lol.it was grape krush male ,magic merlin and double purple doja.

the main thing is not to count your chickens b4 they hatch, and by that i mean wait for real pollen burst, the early pollen isnt very fertile. when hes ready youll have a cloud of pollen while your working and this is when real mistakes are made. i had and acidental pollination recently (sneezed on the dish i was using to ditribute) luckily it all hit one plant and that it was the plant i wanted to make a seed bearer.

i could see that being a nightmare.heres wat come up with for the male,i can keep it sealed shutand not leave it open.

hell yeah im just happy your starting to breed. gets hard dealing with all the ways to get quality seeds, better to just make your own. plus if you spend a few years doing your own little thing you can stabilize a few of your own strains.

wen stock got low the bids were at 300. for 10 beans,i caught these for 80..he's the breeder of the gorilla grape.he was underground till he got popped for sendin seeds throu u.s. mail,and he was already on the go froma previous occurance.

damn that sucks for real, but i heard gorilla grape is great. keep saving them i dont have a stockpile of beans yet(beside my own breeds and hybrids and what nots.) but im working on it , saving these 5 kens kush gonna buy bay 11 when it drops im gonna get 2 packs. now that is the one thats supposed to be the kill, the kush was kinda a test.

yea the only extra beens i have in the fridge is 10 fem ssh.

went to see the gdp this morning,,man only 7 up lookin good , the other 3 were coming up and wonder if thier gonna come on up,,,damn prob cuz i opened the dome lid couple times yesterday thats not smart,we'll see. i put alittle water in the tray and dome kik up some moisture in the air.

tht flourecent ur gonna use for ur male did u swap the bulb i hav several of those i think they come wth 7000k bulbs im haiving a hard time finding 6500k T8 bulbs for mine !

this a cheap walmart 50 watt flor. grow light,lol.but its perfect for keep a plant goin.

yea i know i bought several when i 1st started they seem to do ok havnt use them in awhile mite have to break them out i have more plant in my veg room than i normaly do prbly use them for side lights

gonna use that to jus keep a male goin...i use that flor yube for seedlings and clone light and does the job well for 12.00

there actualy 7800k thts why i quit using them i thought they were a little to high on the light spectrum
