i have an outdoor grow (follow the link in my sig). there is massive rain forecast for my district tommorow and the next day, what should i do? i've heard that rain will cause bud rot but is it very likely? i'm gonna go get some peroxide in any case.

rain won't hurt anything as long as it gets to dry out afterwards. the biggest problem is broken branches from the excess weight. if you have any damaged buds and they get wet those may rot but healthy buds should be fine.

Jorge Cervantes say that you should shake the water off of each plant to prevent mold and rott. You should check out his new ultimate grow DVD 2. I think i saw that someone had posted some of it up on u-tube.

cheers guys. absolutepain, the peroxide kills fungus and mold. thanks for the advice fdd, my plants arent big enough to hold that much water (autoflowering). bwinn i check my plants practically daily but it depends on weather. i only water occaisionally and my plants never really showed symptoms of underwatering. i'll be cutting very soon anyway.

thanks
