Raising lights mid/late flower?!

So I have a Viparspectra 450w LED over my Barney's Farm Mimosa Evo currently near the end of week 6 of flower and someone told me that during the flower this specific light should be 18" away, so I went and measured the distance between the light and the plant and it was 11"..

I just raised the light to exactly 18" away and was wondering if this would have any impact on the grow, if so would it decrease/increase development of buds, make buds less or more dense/airy?!

It's my first grow of any kind so all advice would be greatly appreciated!

VIPARSPECTRA 450W Distance From Plants
Young Vegetative: 32-36 inches above the plants, keep 12 hours On & 12 hours Off, VEG Switch On & Bloom Switch Off. Vegetative Stage: 24-32 inches above the plants, keep 18 hours On & 6 hours Off, VEG Switch On & Bloom Switch On.”

However actual growers suggest 18” at flower. This is not a powerful light at all.

give 1-2 more weeks of full blast from close up, its important now so they fatten up. Be careful not to go so close they get lightburn
I was just thinking maybe moving it away would give it more coverage on the lower outer bud sites, but I was so skeptical!
I think I'll drop it back down now..
