I never would have anticipated my journey would be as wild and crazy but it be, and it's the journey within yourself that really matters in the end. I wish I had always been with it and where and who I need to be but that wasn't the cards I was dealt no point looking in the rear view mirror.

Why it certainly is, an always was. Hell, you're on in you thirties , you better strap in. Just wait until your an old fart. The curve balls keep getting worse. Jim Morrison......... " I'm getting out of here,before the whole shithouse goes up in flames". As the Navajo's would say , " Dark winds blow on everyone......it's will power that gets you through it " . Sorry for you misery ! " Nobody said that life would be a cakewalk" , as the old saying goes. You gotta " hold tight ", if not you will be of no help to anyone. When I was a young teen, my father said to me. during those dark times " Ya gotta put your big boy pants on along with some brass balls" ( He a WWII combat vet, which accounted for his demeanor).....
" toughen up". A very loving, wonderful father.

There are rats on my patio getting drinks out of my fountain. I've put out traps to no avail. I don't have the patience to sit out there with my pellet gun and pick them off, guess I could keep it loaded by the back door...

Are you using full size Victor brand rat traps? ...and switching around the baits?
I know some of them have adjustable "sensitivity" settings. I've had luck with Havahart live traps but you have to drown them after.
I guess poison's out?

I'm using these:



We don't have wharf rats, these are smaller. Been using pnutbutter. Poison is out because of the dog in the yard. One trap was put in their path to the fountain and they just skipped over it.
