rare plant finaly flowers after 25 years

I told them not to use to much nitrogen it delays flowering. But nooooo!

high humidity is a bastard!!!

We have these Agave parryi everywhere in the desert. Supposedly takes 25 years to bloom.



It was quite hilarious watching my friend try to chop down a 20 foot stalk with an axe, and then carry it down a huge hill while tripping our faces off . Quite the impressive stalk!! Took a while to burn. We left one of the two stalks, out of respect for the desert.
