RDWC VS Ebb&flow vs Coco

Hello looking for opinions of pros and cons of these styles.

Plan is 5x5 or 4x8 5 plants in flower. Separate veg room.

I have experience with both DWC and flood and drain. No experience with coco or soil. My first grow was DWC over 10 years ago.

My initial thought was go Coco and drip set up. But then after reading through the forums I'm not so sure.

The initial cost seems cheaper with Coco no need for a chiller less things to go wrong.

DWC fast growth huge plants that thrive. At least in my experience that is. UT more initial cost chiller is a must more places for things to fail or go wrong.

Any opinions tips suggestions welcome. Thanks for your time.

Floraflex quickfill and drip step up and b1&b2 and cal mag that’s it make it simple

Coco is a media you can use for either grow systems mentioned ....

This does sound simple. What about starting PPM's are you using r/o i read somewhere that running r/o water and coco can cause all sorts of cal mag issues.

Ok I guess i always used hydroton before in both dwc and flood drain. I was thinking coco would be more of drip system.

You can use coco like soil, you can use it ebb n flow, you can drip system, you can dwc....it’s a pretty variable media.

Auto-Hempy System

30 gallon reservoir with vivosun 800gph pump going to a FloraFlex 8 way feeder with 20gph restrictors inserted.

On a multi programmable timer

1/4" feed lines on quick connects placed for Sub-irrigation (aka no algae) to 70/30 perlite/vermiculite 10 gallon hempys.

3/8" drain lines also on quick connects (john guest fittings), 2" up from bottom of buckets draining to a good condensate pump

Which automatically pumps runoff into sewer system. Plumbed in just like you would a discharge line on a water softener

All you have to do is mix the nutes

Ebb and flow is too simple with not much maintenance and not much to go wrong. That's the way I would grow if I wasn't such a sativa tree lover.

I recommend using quantum towers hands down everytime. Promix followed by the rooting membrane that's you soil stage under the membrane the hydroponic stage starts I recommend using a medium thats badass not rock wool. I like this stuff.

The hardest part it's getting real time spectral lighting. Because seems like not a soul knows about light in motion
