re-use sunshine mix

Hi can i reuse sunshine mix #4? I used it for one batch and I thought i would shake most of the old roots out and add perlite and use it again. I hate buying this. Since its soiless, I think I can. Whats your opinions?

unless you had a bug problem or other infection, it should be safe.
i compost mine after the first cycle.
i have heard or filling a trash can with old dirt/roots and putting a pound of red wigglers in there for a few weeks.
