re-vegging for scrog a few questions about clones.

So unfortunately I have to re-veg my plants. I am getting some new growth and its getting bigger every day I am just wondering how big I need the leaves to get before I can cut for clones. I have been doing some research and as we all know you hear a hundred different opinions on any subject lol. I'm just wondering what my peers have to say. Any input or advice is appreciated. This will be my first time cloning. I usually grow from seed but I hear scrog works better with clones so I guess we will have to see. Thanks in advance.

Leaf size doesnt matter. When I clone I try to take upper newer growth. Use clean cutting tools. I have a cup of water handy, make a clean cut at a 45degree angle and put the cut right into water. Using an exacto knife, I strip away some of the outer skin from the stem, dip into cloning powder and insert into soil. I do the skinning under water, and pre poke the hole in the soil, and back fill to the stem. Make a humidity dome (soda bottle) to place over the clone. Keep the soil moist, not wet, as there are no roots to take up anything yet.

As always thanks grumpy. I kinda fucked up in harvest and cut the colas down to like three inches from the soil. Should I let own get actual new cola growth or can I use the new leaves that are coming off the main stalk?

Ahhhh. After the harvest. Gonna take a bit to get it back into veg enough to grab a clone. I usually grab them right after sexing. ( wow that sounds bad, lol). I take clones at least 6 inches long. As for a clo e from a revegging plant, not sure how long it will take. I do know yu will see the new growth comming in all kinds of crazy like though. I would wait till growth starts to look normal.

Yeah it sucks to have to do it but a guy in our town just got busted shipping seeds in they raided his house and he's looking at almost ten years. I would rather take the time and be free to smoke lol. And yeah the growth does not look the best ill get a pic up in a while. Wish I would have thought this part out a little better. If it doesn't work I can always order some seeds once the heat dies down a bit.

ill be following, i have a couple recon plants from dna labs, its sooooooo bomb, and i KNOW I TOOK CUTS but some arent taking and i forgot to label them DOH!!! so i think it will be a good idea to re veg one of each

on the re veg no, a buddy says it takes a LONG TIME i never persnally did it but i think it would be wise to let the go back to:leaf:

Yeah. I tried reveggging my last harvest. After a couple weeks of some real funny growth, I stopped and decided to just let it go till, well, whenever. Lol. I had already taken a cutting from it prior, and it was 2 times the size of the original, so put my effort into it, while I play Frankenstein on the original.

revegging takes along time and effort. let quite a bit of new growth occur. make sure the plant is recovered before you start taking away its energy.

It's been q couple of weeks since harvest and the leaves look funky but the newer low growth seems to be coming in okay I'm just worried about using a cutting from low on the stalk as I have heard they are harder to clone but then again that could be Bullshit too. I hope to keep this strain alive cuz it was a really nice smoke.

I revegged my midnight Kush. It took six weeks. Shoulda took pix. New growth is about 6-8" long and the stems are strong and firm. When they root I'll flower them out. Leaves in transition are crazy looking but as long as it forms a bud I'm happy.
