5weeks and 3 days in flower im doing force flowering 12h direct sun and 12h dark. Really 5 more weeks ? Damn i was thinking max 10 days.. will post some photos next week. Thanks for answer.
When buds are finished or close you can see the swollen individual calyxes at a glance from 10’. When buds are finished the hairs will appear to be engulfed by the calyxes. No white hairs should be visible.
5 maybe 6 weeks for some primo. These pictures show a plant at feb 5 and same plant March 18 of 2022 finishing up outside. I veg in the tent and start flower and bring them outside in March to finish. Patience pays. Just keep feeding to the end—Keep em green unless you have colorful genetics.

look, you are in the harvesting window. but those hairs are still very fat, They still look like they were when they were white, only brownish now...
When you get closer to the correct time, they will look dried out and much shorter... almost like they are being sucked into the calyx.
Taking it off now is going to make housecleaning weed. Stuff gets you jittery for a few minutes. but not its full potential

Don't be in such a rush, your friend is wrong, you need more weeks before it's ready. fskitch is correct about how to tell when they are ready, you shouldn't really see even brown hairs, they should mostly be hidden. If I always followed the advice of friends (and even some here) I'd never have a successful grow

4 more weeks for those examples. Be sure and come back and ask again in 4 days though.

Like everyone else said they aren’t ready. The hairs will “die off”, be dried out redish brown when she’s ready. And look like you could trim it and smoke it right there. But don’t… don’t over look the drying a curing process. Dry it for a few days hanging. It will lose most it’s size and weight. When the stems crack you are ready for next step.

Throw it in a jar or some air tight container. Keep some off to the side to test (or course) and get a small humidity gauge. Try to keep humidity at 65%, under is ok. If it’s over it need to air out for an hour or 2 then back in the jar. One month cure is what you want. Everyday open the jar and move the buds around. The difference really is amazing.
