And guess what if we shrunk the federal government, and brought our troops home, and quit investing money in the infrastructure of 3rd world countries, then we could afford everyones medical costs.

Argentina defaulted as well didn't they? They've recovered fine...

But I think with treasury bonds considered one of the safest investments in the world and the USD's status as the worlds primary reserve currency makes us a different story.

things in argentina are less than 'fine'...... what was once one of the world's most promising economies is now just a shadow of it's former self.

chile is the place of growth in south america ATM....

i picked stalin cuz he has been at room temperature for a long time and i dont think he could do much harm :)
Stalin is buried and rotted now. Lenin is still at room temperature.

easy mistake to make. Stalin was embalmed and placed in the same mausoleum with Lenin, but Kruschev led the Anti-Stalin movement and had him buried.

Well you give us some shitty choices a bunch of commies and a centrist banker puppet, I wouldn't choose any of them but I picked Che because he is a revolutionary but mostly cause he'd kick the other ones asses. Funny Poll - Thumbs UP!

Chile privatized their social security program about twenty years ago. How's that working out for them?

apparently pretty spectacular

http://www.cato.org/pubs/policy_report/pr-ja-jp.html

it makes very good sense and should have been done here long ago.

the reason the politician fucks dont want it is, no money changes through govt hands. you manage the whole thing and nobody to skim off the top.

hadnt seen this before. great stuff thanks for posting

At one time, local governments could opt. Congress closed that 'loophole' a while back, but a due to grandfathering there are few lucky people out.

I may be wrong, but I hear congress does not pay social security as well.
One of many reasons we should look at a goose and gander amendment.

since fog found the obama vs. paul poll not to his liking, i thought i might put one up that has options aimed more at his sort of philosophy. it's a very limited time offer, so get your choices in now.
I thought Mao Se Tung was dead...................even so. I'd still vote for him!!
That fat fuck just looks cool
I hate those big ears of Obama's
