Really Hate Getting Poorly Flushed Bud from Uninformed Dealer

I just picked up a quarter O and really disappointed because the last one I picked up was top quality and this one well...its like they didn't even bother flushing it. The problem with knowing what I know now about bud after I grew a fascination in growing and in marijuana in general, is that I notice these things and they bother me more than when I was clueless about weed and just thought kush was the best bud around. Now I know some may wanna debate that if their favorite variety is kush but you know what I am saying. I hate being told bud is kill when its not. I smoked a blunt of it with my connect so didn't think much of the taste until I smoked a bowl of it at home. Am I being too picky or am I right to be annoyed by this? People need to learn the diff between kill and KILL.

I guess since you said he is uninformed and you tried some before you left than its on you.
You might ask him about it though so he understands in the future your willing to pay for top quality
but expect some quality control.

You're reaction is fine.. But you can't say it's your dealers fault since he's cool enough to let you test out the product before purchase.

Indeed, I just find it awkward schooling people like that. They laugh when I start talking about trichomes and shit lol not to make fun but just funny that I took time to learn about it.

This morning's random thought: I'd rather put up with an uninformed dealer than an ununiformed one. cn
Depends on why they aren't uniformed...lol.

As for the OP what you got wasn't poorly flushed...it was poorly cured, and probably fast dried...overfert can also cause buds to be all dry and hard and not burn right...I never ever ever flush...and my stuff is awesome...
It is almost never the flushing...simply because nutes don't move terribly fast...it is a very slow chugging sort of process...best thing is to not overdo the nutes at all...nutes aren't stored in the buds...but a nute burnt bud is well--a nute burnt bud...lol.

I let my plants just starve at the end though...actually for most of the grow....if not then it is too much and the state of the plant starts to decline...blah blah blah...sorry off track...

Anyway I have never flushed, even in hydro, and never had any weirdness...have bought some terrible terrible stuff though... It is all about letting it dry slow... And some pot is just harsh and terrible...
I have a strain now that is the bang and the pow in potency and appearance...but just makes you cough your ass off, and makes my throat feel yucky...I have tried flushing, not flushing, harvesting earlier, harvesting later, feeding, not feeding...slow cure, fast cure, extra long cure...
Nothing kills the harsh...finally just decided to toss the strain because coughing your face off sucks yo...then I thought about it again and took a clone, because it is the frostiest strain I have, but totally and definitely my least favorite... but now I have to stop altogether...so...it is what it is.

Well I thought my dealer had the same thoughts on what "kill bud" is and I can see we do not. I know some strains will just be that harsh but this bud is obviously not flushed. Hard to keep lit, ash burns black, stems are still not dry all the way. I first learned about sativa and indica buds early on in my career of smoking for about 6-7 years now. And this guy has been smoking longer than me and only recently this year discovered the diff between sativa and indica so its like a hit or miss sometimes. I really shouldn't have taken his word for it but the last time I grabbed off him it was top notch sativa. I'm honestly thinking about just baking it into like a couple brownies or something cause it sucks to smoke -__-. Getting a headache and getting a chem taste in the throat does not mean it is kill. I mean its still smokable just not enjoyable to smoke.

I hated getting the stuff that tasted and smoked like nobody had ever grown or cared for the plant it came from ever... I mean I can't imagine what the plant must have looked like that most of what I have purchased comes from...charlie brown pot plant for sure! Just sick sad creatures...had to have been...
I got ripped off way more than I got ripped...so I gave up...between super low quality and weight, and everything...I save money growing my own super awesome buds...and don't ever get shorted. Got my money just taken more than once...sad sad state of affairs...

The one thing I didn't see in your list, and the one thing I'd consider a universal fix, is water-curing. That can be done to fully dried weed. I'll wager that if OP water-cures that baggie, it'll smoke sweet. cn

True, its making me want to get my own place even sooner now. Not comfortable growing here and not enough space plus I messed up my first grow so I'm just gonna wait till I get a place beginning of next year maybe. Being shorted sucks too cause I ended up getting a scale and started checking my buds and there are some times where its under but not by much but I know what the correct amount should be and its just irritating. Already got a headache from smoking a joint of it. Damnit this is no bueno.

No...it doesn't but that is what the strain I was talking about does to me whether it is flushed or not...and the high is awesome...but the headache and sore throat just aren't worth it...and if I've had too much water before trying to smoke it well then...disaster...just terrible harshy harsh harshness that knows no bounds...even in the vape it makes you cough too hard to taste if it tastes like anything...so far all I know is that what you get from a Critical + from Dinafem is harshness in plant form...if you could put sand in smoke, or small crushed glass...but it's super super strong...makes for some killer hash...and that is why I decided to keep it...I mean the amount is amazing, and it doesn't make me cough til I pee....I also had their California Hash Plant, but it died as a wee little seedling (I may have dropped it, and severed the first little leaves off), and I think I am glad..because if this Critical + wasn't designed for hash then I don't know what it is for... messing with your friends...? Enjoying a nice spleen jarring cough? That or it just tastes like a sore throat.

Bubble hash is a great idea as well...
I hadn't thought of water curing..I personally haven't tried it, but I guess it is just for these situations...
I really like Ice water hash though, now that I have tried it...
I was just saying not to jump to the conclusion that it is not been flushed....

and cannabineer I would +rep for the water cure idea, but alas I cannot...I am stingy with my rep and you seem to have gotten some too recently.

I thought it was just the blunt cause we smoked a blunt of it before I got out of there. Blunts generally make me cough either way. Wish they smoked bowls so I can get the full taste of the bud and smoke. I take pride in my knowledge of cannabis. Its a beautiful plant to grow, to look at, and you can use every part of it. People need to look past just getting high imo.

flushing does help, there is a simple test.. smoke a joint, save the ash. If its white, the bud is tight. if its grey, let it stay. IF the ash is black, that grower did lack.

besides this i have come to find out that weed is somewhat like booze.. take a sip of a drink, it tastes good, you get a little buzz. Take a double shot and your about to blow and your already seeing foggy. The potency of the pot will make it rough. but like a good shot, it is well worth it. just smoke less... the best tasting bud i have had was not even close to the strongest. old hippy here.

You're just gonna have to spread it some, young lady. ;)

If you have some of that harsh weed left, I suggest trying to water-cure it. cn

he probably says it KILL WEED because his promoting it lol i mean these days people don't look out for one another it seems like. for example one time I grabbed a sack from my friend who had grown some "gdp" because i never had it before i was excited and curious about and of course heard a lot about it. I at the time had some headband and we pretty much juss swapped out quarter bags "looking out for each other so i had thought". come to find out it was juss some purp kush AND HE ADMITTED IT AFTER THE FACT. not the same as gdp since then ive never dealt with him when it come to bud. So everytime he ask me what i got in and try to get a SACK from me i tell him it purp kush and never tell him what he really smoking. Irritates the piss outta him. lotta babbling but my point is im sure he has smoked the same bud he sold u. he should know the quality and warn u before hand and be straight up honest.
