really slow seedling?

Restarting is a better idea. Seedlings do best with just a little bit of water..In a good soil 2 oz every 2 days until first set of true leaves about 4 oz after that, then 6 etc. Im not saying this is exactly how much but it should get you in the ballpark. Seedlings also love humidity.
As far as light, I have vegged seedlings with great success under a 420 watt led (at the wall) 20 inches away. That much is not necessary but it never hurt my plants.
 
Thanks for the reply. Yea I believe it is good to restart at this point as the roots were terribly small. I just don't want to rip up all my zkittlez because I have no more seeds for that strain and the last strain I grew was six shooter and it worked out well other than really slow start like these ones but they ended up taking off in the end. The only difference that I can see between the 2 grows it I was using sunshine mix #4 for my first grow. The bud was really good quality but really airy because I believe the heat was really high for the beginning of flower and I heard CMH lighting causes looser airier buds.

one thing I did notice about the promix was that it seems like it came with some moisture which confused me because I thought it was dry and was using that weight to check the weight of my pots. I think this time I am going to turn the soilless mix and make sure it its completely dry before watering a small circle and planting another seed unless someone thinks that is a bad idea.
 
So I just ripped up another one of the seeds. Again small roots but at least these ones looked white. I notice that the roots don't grow till pretty deep down and was wondering if anyone has the reason for it. I planted the seeds pretty shallow (maybe an inch) I believe it is because the top of the soil is drying out but there is still lots of moisture underneath which is causing the roots to search underneath for water but not spreading out near the top as it is really dry. Would that make sense and if that is the case should I just mist the top of the soil so the top doesn't completely dry out or do you think this will still cause overwatering issues? Another thing that is different between this grow and last is i am using water directly from the tap (to maximize dissolved oxygen) but we have really high quality water. It doesn't have much chlorine but it has some and was wondering if anyone thinks that this could have caused some of theses issues?

Its true , for seedlings within the first week or 2 from coming out of the dirt, the humidity needs to stay a constant 60-70%. Very little watering , maybe once every 2-3 days . Low light intensity. My seedlings grew well under very low light setting. I also just watered with bottled spring water for the first week or two. No Adding fertilizers to seedlings, its too harsh on the little bits of roots that are just starting
 
thanks for giving me some hope. I decided to keep the 2 healthier looking ones instead of ripping them all up. I will start 2 other ones and had already started a sour stomper from mephisto 3 days ago this time planted directly into the medium. I am a little confused as to whether the EM is counted as a fertilizer or not?
 
I am thinking I am going to use my heater to heat up the tent a bit as I feel it is a little cold. I am going to change the temperature to 24 Celsius from approx 23. If I do this the temperature at night will be the same as the day as I had my heater set to keep the temperature at 21 Celsius at night and am unable to set different temperatures. Is it okay to have the same night time and day time temperature? Also is it okay to let a bunch of the soil at the top to dry out or should I be misting it once in a while or put some mulch or something on it so the top stays moist like the bottom?

3 week old autos that look like they are 5 days old....

Tear those out and start over. They will begin flowering soon. If TS is lucky he might get an eight for his troubles..... alot of troubles.
 
For reference this was 18 days from sprout.

TS plants would need to be much further along at 3 weeks to make the time, space and electricity used for them worth it imo

Guess I glossed over that they were autos, never messed with those. I agree probably not worth the time to get a little nug.
 
I had issues like this on my first grow but they ended up taking off and got a pretty good harvest actually out of it. I got a little less than 1 lb from 4 plants all six shooter auto which I believe is a really high yielding strain so I probably got nothing compared to what I could have. The plant went for 16-18 weeks and was supposed to be done in i believe 10 so I am hoping that these will work out as I feel I am just going to plant more seeds to get the same results constantly. I am planting 3 more so we will see and I will start 2 in smaller pots and transplant to see if it makes any difference I just really don't want to transplant as I feel I am going to F it up.. There must be something wrong with what I am doing I believe it is more than overwatering I think it might have to do with the tent being on a cold floor and cold air coming into the tent from outside but don't know if this could cause issues as the temperature in the tent is reading 23 instead of the surrounding air temp. I thought adding a bit of worm castings and stuff would help as it seemed to with my first grow but maybe I will cut them out next time till later on in the grow. I am still confused if I should be cutting out the EM mixture and just PH my water with lemon juice as I want to use all organics.
 
power is cheap where I am at so it isn't that big of a deal for electricity. I won't set the seedlings up under the 630 watt again but the reason for using it in my mind was to get the plants used to the lighting ASAP and to keep the temperature in the tent around 28 Celsius with lights on than drop to 23 with lights off as with the 315 watt it only get to 23 so I am now using my heater to get the temp to 24 Celsius but that means my night time temps will be the same as the heater can only have 1 setting.

If you got 1 lb out of 4 autos that looked like these at 3 weeks old every single person on this planet has no clue what the fuck they are doing growing wise.

okay whatever why would I lie? I do like the gif though. I am trying to get help and I am not trying to be rude and appreciate everyone trying to help but please if you have nothing to add than don't. I have no idea how the plants ended up growing in the end on my first grow (as you can see I have no idea what I am doing) but they did. I am not sure if I stunted them so the vegetative period started after they got out of the funk or what but they ended up nice a big (around 4 ft a little less) and like I said produced lots I will say around 13-15 oz not quite a lb but close and I believe it could have been bigger but due to me trying to just grow a plant out without LST or defoliation which didn't produce nearly as much as the others.. All the other ones got huge but that one stayed smaller and lots of leaf as I didn't mess with it at all. 3 plants produced approx 4 oz averaged between the 3 plants I was training and the one I didn't mess with produced 2 oz approximately. The trained ones were LST and extremely defoliated plus all bud sites lower down than 1 quarter of the plant if I remember correctly were removed except for a bud here and there. I want to add that my first grow used sunshine mix #4 with a decent amount of added local worm castings (not gaia green) this time promix HP with not nearly as much worm castings and they are gaia green brand. I was really hoping to be really successful this grow as the other one I was happy with as the quality was good and the amount was good enough and there were so many problems that I thought I had it sorted out with adding the perlite to the mix and everything as the problem with the last plants was definitely overwatering and too much heat during flower. Last time though I knew it was overwatering as the pot never got light plus it was damp where as this one is getting bone dry at the top and seems light. I do want to add that the weight is obviously with all the stem but the stem seems light but the buds are so airy that there is tons of stems in them. I wish I kept some pictures but at the end of their life they looked really sick (yellowing leaves and leaves falling off) which I believe was because they were so old but maybe nutrition problems or something.

okay, thanks for the heads up. The logic of someone lying while trying to get help makes no sense to me as they would possibly not get any helpful advice due to them not giving accurate information. Also I didn't write it for you just as a heads up. The block of text is me saying what happened and why I thought it did. I thought I would take some pictures of some of the stuff I have left just for fun. It doesn't look very pretty but gets the job done and smells really nice. Also very sticky but some of the buds that I didn't put in while moist are dry and not very sticky and also not as potent. I believe it is due to not getting a cure. Next time if I can get this going again I will make sure not to be lazy and just trim my stuff after a few of days of hanging the entire plant and not cutting any fan leaves off except a couple here and there for air movement.

I thought I would give an update and if anyone thinks this is a bad idea just let me know. I am going to put my seedling heat mat underneath my smart pots as the ground is cold and it is one of the major differences between this grow and my last. I didn't put them on the heat mats till later in the seedling phase as it was stunted and I thought it was cause of the cold floor if I am remembering correctly. I am going to put it under just 1 pot for now and see how the plant reacts in a day or two.
