Im glad you like It but that bill is far from true legalization! Now im excited about Maine thats the closest thing to true legalization ive seen so far.
All that I can find about Maine is possession without an amount listed. Am I missing something. In MA we can have an ounce on our person, 10 in our homes, and up to 6 plants.

Maine possess 2.5 oz out of home. Can grow your own. In your home you can possess whatever you get from your plant limits. Mass still has lots of ways to end up in jail. Also look at prices for becoming a legal company in Mass compared to Maine.

1oz on person, 10oz in the home-anything over 1oz in the home needs to be locked up. 6 plants per person, up to 12 plants per house. State has until Jan 1 2018 to get laws/regs set. Only med. dispensaries are going to be allowed to distribute until then, from what I understand, and they still have to build separate retail areas from the medical areas.

Get a big grow going now, come Jan/Feb the demands is going to be through the roof with limited supplies. $$$$$$$$$$$$

I'm looking into it. Looks like $5-7k/ yr for a basic license. I'm not sure what it entails, there's nothing written I can find. Then there's whatever requirements they tack on, video surveillance, security systems, zoning issues, etc, etc. I'm figuring $10K just in state/licensing fees. Another $25-30k to remodel an existing structure I own into a grow house. Another $5k for equipment. I'm figuring minimum $50k just to get a small, legal, OP going.

But is not so much the cost, but the face the people writing the law are doing it to favor certain groups/people, rather than creating an equal footing for anyone to start a buisness.
