Reference solution to change ph?

Hi guys, I ordered some ph up/down and some calibration solution, along with a humidifier.

For some reason I only recieved the calibration solution, I think the others will be here tomorrow.

Problem is, I am out of ph down.

I am looking over the calibration bottles from general Hydroponics and I am pretty sure they are the same thing.


One bottle just says its acid and the other says its 4.01ph.

Are they just packaging it different so an idiot like me would spend twice as much?

The one on the right is ph down. The other is to calibrate.

It happens lol. I only know because I have some. You might have to get a little liberal with it. Doesn't do that great of a job, but it's pretty stable.
