Regrowth when buds are just about done

This keeps happening! My plants are gorgeous, full and full of trichomes and then BAM! I see little green growths starting at the tip of the buds. I figured my grow room must be leaking light so I turned off the lights, found a small leak and fixed it. Now my other plant is starting to regrow, after I thought I had fixed the light leak. Are there other reasons that they would regrow? No fertilizer has been added for weeks.

Pics would really help in getting the right diagnosis. Include all the grow info you can and you will get much better and informative advice.

Sounds like foxtails. With some strains its genetic if it keeps happening it's more than likely caused from heat. Can't be sure without pictures tho

Darn it! I harvested the crop. This happened before and I let the plant alone after fixing the light leak and it continued to regreen. After weeks I harvested it. This time I harvested right away, as the crop was very close to all cloudy trichomes with a few amber trichomes. I didn't want it to go all green like the previous plant. I did turn the plants while under the lights to get more even coverage.

Yes, that would describe what a previous plant did. It just kept producing flowers one atop the other. Good word for it.

Some type of stress like light being too intense, too hot ect.
Could even be genetic, after all we are controlling a plant to not produce seeds which is really its only purpose , from its point of view
