what do you run with your 450?

im going to be trying a pvc aero setup that have 4 rows each row being 4 feet. i figured like 650 would be the bare minimum

Well i had used it for an aero setup, and to change my rez. It put out as much water as my garden hose does in the yard. I really couldnt tell for sure it will work for your setup, but it pushes alot of water out. You can return it if it doesnt work

i might look later this week then if i cant get somethign ordered by friday. i thought i remembered them being over 100 for like 900gph i thought. i think pond/waterfall pumps are a lto cheaper but im not sure if they do the same thing but i guess they would...

ive never used a pump bigger than 200 for a rubbermaid areo cloner and the misters dont even mist and the waters only going like up 1 foot then into an H shape with 6 misters

however my setup wont be a TRUE aero and onces root are well established itll be just as much a NFT as its an aero. but the more mist i can get the better so i dont wanna go too low. but spending less than $100 would se cool as well

Dude,

I'm new around here----- but not around the beginings of these forums.

If you want to run aero------then shell out the bucks for the heart of the system-----the pump. yep-------$300 bucks for a high head pressure leader 3/4 hp to get the full benifits of aero-----if not-----choose another style of cultivation.

Also-----if you can't keep your nutes below 75f-----choose another method.

It'sall about return on investment-----and all the fun you can have.

like i said my setup is basically NFT/aero and once roots are developed i wont really NEED my waters to be coming out of my misters at like 1 microgobule or whatev. i cant afford a REAL aero thing. so what im looking for is a pump that is relativly cheap $100 tops and around 800gph.

ive seen pond pumps or waterfall pumps that met these conditions but im not sure if those are the same as the water pumps ive currently used; as in: put pump in water, connect hose to pump, connect hose to hydro system.
