On the subject of the article, it's probably going to affect everyone equally. It's their narcissism that makes them think they're only ones not dumb enough to vote in the wrong location.

On the John Adams quote, democracies fail because they don't build in a self-sustaining maintenance program, imo. My car reminds me to change the oil, but my country doesn't remind me how and why this all works.
