Removing fan leaves

Hi all,

Looking for some advice again. This is my first time growing photo periods and I think so far so good. I topped a couple of days ago and I’ve been doing this tucking technique with the fan leaves to try expose the shoots coming through. Would it be an option to cut these fan leaves off or is this going to be detrimental to the plant overall? I’ve attached some pictures as well.

Thanks, always appreciate the advice 9932A285-6E87-4E4C-8E4A-8454260AF41C.jpeg8D34A3E8-A724-452D-B36E-835F2DF2DCFB.jpeg48445D3E-F2B6-4DCA-8D20-3272C785FE67.jpegDBAD10AE-69C0-4235-BC11-6783390C23E0.jpeg3DA228B6-886A-45E6-9FA0-C1100757AC3D.jpeg

Wait a week after topping. Let your plants settle. I pull my fan leaves but only a couple at a time then wait at least a couple days. Dont go crazy a tug a bunch off. You should be fine if you do it that way.

As already stated when you pull fan leaves pick a max of 3 strategic leaves and then give it a couple days. Then you can pull another max of 3.

Happy medium between pruning and shocking.
