Removing new branches

Hello RIU just me again. Ladys are 2 weeks today and as you can see the leaves are just about to overlap. I will be giving 16 of these plants a sq ft each in the days too come but I was talking with a member today who suggested removing the new branches in the next few days. Im having trouble telling what I should remove. I will be reading up vigorously in the next few days but would value any opinions. Thanks.

What? No, man, just no! Don't remove any of the leaves/branches! If anything, give them another week or two then top them!
 
I was confused about how to remove branches and not leaves. Apparently they should grow between nodes and removing them before they have leaves will help focus growth into one main cola (im attempting) SOG.
