Hi

I am a total noob when it comes to soils. i heard a lot about FOXFARM Ocean Forest soil. but i cant buy it from where i live and if i try to buy it from Net ,include delivery charges ,it costs me something around 200usd for just a 1,5 cu ft pack.its too much for only a pack, so i am looking for a replacement for it in local stores, there or many different kinds of soil in the store and i dont know which one is the right one to choose,,of course i am going to add some amendments to it but which one is going to play the same as FOXFARM organic soil for me?

in the store i found that some of the soils say they are 7ph.and they are perfect to grow the whole seedling, veg.and flowering stages,i dont know much about the recipes or ratio numbers and stuff.
is only knowing that the soil has around 6 to 7ph enough to trust and buy it? or please give me an easy explanation of what factors matter to buy a soil ?
how to decide which is the right soil?

Thanks a lot and much appreciate .

Yes... And I said I would buy the " house mix" that the local garden center or nursery uses.
I bet that they use a LOT of sea creatures in their compost! Fish and crustacean type, probably kelp also. From what I understand, Japan uses the ocean for everything. I only got to hear stories from my brother that lived in Taiwan for 5yrs.

Bokashi is Japanese for "fermented organic matter." Bokashi composting is a safe, quick, and convenient way to compost in your kitchen, garage, or apartment, using a specific group of microorganisms to anaerobically ferment all food waste (including meat and dairy). Since the process takes place in a closed system, insects and smell are controlled, making it ideal for urban or business settings. The process is very fast, with compost usually ready to be integrated into your soil or garden in around two weeks.
