Repotting and pruning question and some randomness

Hey! I’m growing 3 plants. Suppose to be the same genetics. All looking and acting very differently. But firstly-
When I repotted them into 5gal bags from cups I filled the dirt to about maybe 2 inches from the top and didn’t pack it down at all. We are at about week 6 now and it’s looks like my dirt is shrinking! Damn near 5in from the top of the bags now! Wtf?!? I’m feeling like this will start to hinder my plants. I’m I asking for trouble if I repot them? And can I keep the same dirt somehow if I just “dump them upside down and refill in the dirt with more dirt? Idk I’m trying to wrap my head around the process with all these branches I’m looking at.
Then they all so diff idk this bushy one is bunched up and the leaves are twisting over each other. It’s not getting tall and I didn’t top it. So... check out these pics. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

About 5 1/4 inches from my pointer finger to inside of my thumb.
Any help is appreciated.

where did the seeds come from? (vendor, breeder, strain)

i would buy more pots, put about 4-5 inches of lightly packed dirt in the bottom, cut away the old pot, and drop them into the new pot. getting them out of those fabric pots will likely cause a lot of damage to the root ball. might want to bump up to 7 gallon so they slide in easy. or u could cut the top 4'' off of your pots but u would only have like 3 gallons of dirt. when i fill my pots i gently pack the dirt by repeatedly dropping them about 6'', and gently pack the surface down. when i transplant i do this;

Not the most secured genetics. Guy I get my bud from’s grower fucked up his batch of ‘Legend OG’ with a male. This the story. So this been cheap smoke for awhile. I been saving those seeds from the bags I get. If I get 7gal bags I doubt there will be room under my light for 3 of them. I think I’ll see if I can get some help repotting next weekend cuz more hands working the exchange should be easier.

I would cut the lst lines and let the branches come back up for a few days. Then you can back fill around the plant. I never like taking the plant back out of the soil. Roots will grow right out of the branching that gets covered.
Good luck friend!
