Reverse photobleaching or bud rot or…?

Just finished drying my latest harvest.

All of the buds are a very light color on the inside. They look pretty bleached but the problem is mostly on the inside not the outside. They kinda look like cauliflower on the inside.

That said, I don’t see any mold, fuzz or mildew. Is it a subtle bud rot? Nute issue during flowering? Any advice appreciated

If it was bud rot, that bud would crumble. The sugar leaves would pull right out from the discolored spot. Try curing it for a few weeks

Does it have a funky smell to it other than weed? If it does, then its molded. Smell test doesn't always work, its hard to tell if thats botrytis through the pics but it definitely looks suspect. The inside of the buds is all light colored and funny greyish looking. Then there are some areas on the buds that kinda look like botrytis.

some does have a smell some doesn’t. Grew two plants in a tight space. Leaning towards tossing the smellier, whiter one. What would you all do?

If I suspect mold I toss everything because if you look up the risks of smoking it, it can be fatal.
Pretty certain the mexican brick i smoked for decades contained mold and a huge host of other contaminants....
Definitely not dead yet and we were taking bong hits of that junk.
