Rhino pro leaking smell

I've got a 8x4 tent and rhino pro 900m3/h 160mmx500mm (530cfm), 1200m3h fan running on 50% during day, and 25% during night

Late flower some smell is getting through. Lights off it might be smell proof. The connection from CF to fan is sealed properly. Its new CF. RH 50%

Is it bad quality, or just too small? What do u guys think?

If it's smell proof at lights off when you're running it at 25%, then I would say when you are running it at 50% in the daytime, it's sucking the air out of the tent too fast and the filter is not able to scrub the air fast enough, which is probably why you are noticing a smell, turn it down to 30 or 40% in the daytime and see how it goes for you. :bigjoint:

Filter is 530cfm, and fan is 33% more to that. Air here is pretty cold and dry, with this exhaust air temp is 26c, sometimes 27c. 78,8f to 80f.

Yeah I wish it was that easy, but then temps start to raise too :rolleyes: If the filter cant handle 600m3h im really disapointed to the marketing of 900m3h

Oh, they can handle it. What filter do you have connected to your rhino fan? is it a full rhino kit? Rhino filter and fan?

That's the problem. I use a 6" fan and filter in my tent and it's only a 4x4 tent. You are in a 8x4 tent which is pretty much twice the size of mine. You need a 8" fan and 8" filter to keep up with that size of a tent, I think that's why you are struggling to keep up with the smell, just try and manage it the best you can, you can get some stuff called ona gel, if you put that outside your grow tent, that should help get rid of the smell :)
