rice to lower Humidity??

I need to lower humidity a bit in my veg box and i heard i can do that by putting a small bowl of rice in room
im not farmiliar with this technique
DOES IT REALLY WORK???

Theoretically it will work.

Practically it will not.

A small bowl would be insignificant.

You would need like #50 in a sealed room

Eat lots of beef jerky, and save the dessicant bags that come in the packs.

How big is the box? Got an old desktop computer laying around? Take out the power supply and 2 fans that are in it. Use one for intake and one for exhaust. Make sure fans are oriented correctly and there you go. If the humidity drops too much use a timer to cycle it on and off. Good luck and happy growing.....Jointed

Wait till you get a hygrometer and then go from there.

Yea thats my best bet
ill be ordering a dehimidifier and a humidity meter in about a week. to be sure

If i flip her to bloom now
how biig will she get
shes 12in tall now
and will she do ok
i havent even started feeding her grow nutes yet..

About 36" tall. I would get the problem with the clawed leaves figured out first then flip them lights.

Getting your watering program down pat is crucial. Take the time to figure it out. Once you got it down it will become second nature to you and your girls will reward you handsomely for it. Growing anything is easy once you figure out that its the sum of all parts not just one or 2 pieces of the puzzle.
