Riddle Me This!

Week 6, Day 39

Wow, life sneaks up and we're that much further along. Anyway, here we go!

I am so happy with these girls. They've just been given'er the entire time. TBH, I'm roughly following my own made up watering protocols. Keep telling myself I shouldn't hit the Violator Kush before going into the grow room. ATM, they're getting a gallon of dechlorinated tap water a day, with a heavy dose of molasses (1 Tbsp/Gal), and before I ran out 1tsp/Gal Fish Hydrolysate with the same of Kelp extract. And I love EWC tea. I aim for a 48 brew every 5 or so days, but sometimes time gets away from me. Kelp foliar every week, right before the lights go out. Picking up some Fulvic Acid tomorrow, so I'm curious to see what it does to my sprays.

Here is the canopy atm:

And get a load of this dong (I can cross that sentence off of my bucket list):

I'll grab a couple photos with my loupe, always nice to look at some glitter.

Just a quick update, nice and frosty. The smells are exciting! Lemon, Lime, Earth, Skunk. It actually really reminds me of the Violator Kush I picked up a while ago.

This grow has been nothing but fun. Just out of curiosity, what do you folks think about doneness? They'll be done when they're done, but I think they're starting to swell up. I can see the odd milky trichome with the loupe as well (sorry, really hard to get a clear shot on my Pixel 5 with the loupe on the camera). This was 4 days ago:

Wow, what a difference a week can make. Here's my canopy atm:PXL_20210514_000723150.jpg
The yellowing is from my potassium incident, as best I can tell. I also have an aphid issue that I've been fighting the entire grow, which has caused a few leaves to die off. Either way, we're getting close!

This is "King Dong", or the tallest of the bunch.

And here we peek up a skirt. Nice frost!

I'm starting to think that my light is a tad close. The white frost and nice long orange pistils disappeared from the top buds a long time ago, and I'm wondering if its worth it to raise the light slightly and run the plants longer.

Finally, I will leave you with this nug. Happy to see the leaves are starting to curl.
