The fact that Brazil's ex dictator is hiding out in DeSantistan is horrendously unsurprising.

I really hope Biden is working on the best way to yank DeSantis' chain on this too. The Republicans have to stop this shit. And their voters need to wake up to the reality of their party becoming this century's Nazi party.

i'm starting to not trust our government to do what they're supposed to do. they should send them both back to Brazil to face their crimes.
but our government doesn't seem to be eager to punish anyone. i wouldn't be surprised if they bought bolsonaro an estate next to mar-a-lardo and let them both stay.
we can't punish obviously guilty insurrectionist and traitors, why would we assist anyone else punishing anyone else?

Congrats. to all trumptards and the MAGA cult,you have now exported your burn the house down mentality to the most important country in South America,Brazil. Watching a fledgling democracy possibly spiraling towards a civil war courtesy of your win or rule of law be damned mentality blueprint is nauseating.Hope Brazil's legs are thick enough to withstand this assault but their democracy is young and I'm hoping a bloodbath is not the result.

I'd say the justices are all appropriately pissed and threatened and this will not bode well for Bolsonaro and others when it comes to getting arrest warrants which could be swift in coming. Joe will have the fucker and his flunky on a plane to Brazil ASAP, as soon as the warrant dropped, no extradition required. However if it was fought in court ICE would just detain them while they were extradited and it would give prosecutors in Brazil time to build a case before they hit the country.

Brazilian Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes has ordered the military to dismantle all Bolsonaro supporters’ camps across the country within 24 hours and told police to arrest any protesters still on the streets, according to a court order.

At least 400 people have been arrested after supporters of former Brazilian leader Jair Bolsonaro stormed key government buildings in Brasilia Sunday, according to Brazilian authorities. Bolsonaro supporters had been camped out in the capital since his presidential election defeat in October.

Commanders from the armed forces, police and the defense minister will be held accountable in court if the camps are not dismantled, Moraes said, adding that all highways in the country must be cleared on Monday.

Trump loves the uneducated and the stupid! Good luck getting funding for that when republicans find out! :lol:

It could be a chicken and egg problem, because bigotry also makes most people stupid, but being stupid to begin with helps a lot. It is more a lack of empathy than intelligence, but perhaps the two traits are linked in some, but a brain without a heart is a dangerous thing.
