Ripeness - PM starting near bottom

Hi Folks,

What do you guys think of the maturity of my plant. Thinking of taking it down tonight as the next days here in Canada will be rainy and temps at night are starting to be single digits (Celsius). And teens during the day.

Would love to go another week or so, but the plant is starting to develop PM near bottom slowly spreading, it’s a battle.

Been spraying with hydrogen-peroxide diluted to 0.5% concentration.

Here are the pics

1. How mature would you say the plant is? Not looking for couch lock feeling. The strain is, pink cookies. Indica.

2. Do you guys look at flower trichomes only or also auger leaves? The sugar leaves are more mature with about 40-50 % amber.

3. Do weed plants grow much when it’s raining/overcast vs fully sunny day?

Cheers,

It looks great to me! In my opinion (not expert) I would let it go until the rain starts and them either cover it or take it down(harvest) because I would not want the mold or mildew to take over and I think at that point any harvest is better than zero harvest. I have left a plant out in the rain and ended up loosing most of it to mold. I live in Santa Cruz County, California and our weather is prime for mold most of the time. I have yet to grow a full cannabis plant outside that did not need a preventive treatment. The THC content is highest at cloudy trichomes then THC starts to degrade. I look at the flower trichomes, not the leaves
Good luck and happy growing :peace: :weed: (:

Thx. Yeah rain coming this aftrenoon, and the next day also. Humidity will be near 100% at night. PM loves changes in hunidity. So will take it down today.

Don't the tricomes on the sugar leaves count though? I mean do the tricoms on the sugar leaves not have the same effect as the trichoms on the flower?
