Whats up Weed Nerds? I have been busy relocating my garden for the past few months but I am now back up and running! Just thought I would stop and show you guys some pics of what I have been working on shot with my new DSLR camera. All of these are in 1 gallon (selection pots) pots and are in Super Soil. I popped a 5 pack of Ripped Bubba and came out with 3 female showing recessive traits of both mother and father plants.

Pheno A: Pheno A appears to be very Pre-98 Bubba dominate with very dense, wide, buds shaped almost like hockey pucks. If I were to have to pick a keeper from the looks of things today she would be it. Although she is Bubba dominate she is covered in a pungent citrusiy lemon funk that come from the JTR.

Pheno B: Pheno B appears to have a little bit more Jack the Ripper influence but, still staying true to the fat round buds of Pre-98 bubba. B has had the most stretch among the 3 phenos.

Pheno C:
Pheno C is also very Pre-98 leaning with very similar bud structure and shape. As with pheno A she is a very squatty plant that had very minimal stretch. Although she is not as frosty as pheno A she has equally large buds.

Both Pre-98 Bubba Dominate plants

I had 1 lone Cheese Quake seed left from a 10 pack that happened to be female! I used SS with her and went a little light so she is fading little early. I will be helping her with a little Advance Nutrients Iguana Juice and some Hi Brix. This plant is UK Cheese dominate with a light "purply" smelling undertone.

Next project on deck...

Thanks Sensei!

I took the subcool challenge (on an episode of the Nerd sub challenged growers to try to do a run without putting dates and stressing about the time span but to take them when they are done) with these girls I did not write a start date on so, I cant tell you exactly what day they are on but they are roughly around day 55ish?

I have been keeping a close eye on the trichomes and I'm starting to see amber but still mostly cloudy.

Yeah they look like they still got at least a week or two to me... lotsa white unreceded hairs and looks like they have a little room to plump up still.

Sup nerds? Just thought I would give you guys a quick update on the ripped bubba. Things are starting look really tasty! I have began to flush these girls so I will hopefully be pulling them down within the next 2 weeks.

Pheno A (Pre-98 Dominate)

Pheno A looks to be my gem as of right now. This plant is completely coated in lemony citrus thrichomes. This plant is showing the biggest bud structure as well

Pheno B (JTR Dominate)

The stem of this plant have turned completely maroon! Although this plant appears to me to be JTR dominate (skinnier leafs and more stretch) It has a unmistakable bubba kush funk.

Pheno C (Pre-98 Dominate)

This pheno is very similar to pheno A in every way. This plant is really coming around and its going to be hard to tell which one is a true keeper until i smoke them both.

Cheese Quake

Cheese Quake is honestly one of my favorite strains of all time. It has an unmistakable rotten cheese smell with a delightful "purple" undertone.

very nice ...whats the cheese quake taste like?
It tastes like a Cheese with a hint of sweet grape. It is one of the most unique and original smells in my whole garden. This is actually my second pheno hunt of cheese quake… I found a keeper before but was so intrigued by it I had to buy another pack! Definitely will ALWAYS have at least 1 CQ running!

The first round of selection I found 2 very similar phenos of Cheese Quake. They were both UK cheese dom, decent producers with HUGE dense buds that had a hint grape.

The pheno that I found in this pack appears to be making smaller buds but, they are just stacked with thrichomes! It has a very fruity almost tropical smell with a trace smell of the cheese. I believe there is something really special in Cheese Quake. It has such a unique smell (really something different then anything else in the garden) and its relatively easy to grow with minimal stretch.

Whats up nerds? I have have been away but boy have I been busy… I have now narrowed it down to just 1 Ripped Bubba that I have deemed my keeper. This pheno makes huge hockey puck buds that just reek of lemony kerosene funk. She was a good producer with this plant being nearly 6 OZ's. This girl is also mainlined and responded quite well to the technique (thanks nugs:lol:). Here she is at day 66. Enjoy!
