I'd like to see the likes back, and the names not in red.....looks weird.

What a strange deal. I'm confused that this site isn't backed up every day, like every site in the world. I've never done busines with a corporation (I know this is a non-profit, but all the more reason to spend the money on the busines) that doesn't back up every night after a certain time. It should be automated, and stored in the Cloud....meh....more important shit in life to worry about!

Not sure it works that way.
(I want the Likes back!!)
I think admin pretty much secured that outcome when -rep was removed. Now the Salad Bar by our names just ratchets up. I don't think removing Likes has an effect on that. cn
No i agree i want the likes back ,
What i meant was , if people can not like , they are more likely to give reputation , as your reputation grows , your name changes , as in your a super stoner and i am a veteran smoker :joint:

  • Now you may be asking why we only had a backup from February. This is a good question, with a site such as ours data is our friend but it can also be our enemy. We do not like to transport our live data through the lines of the internet for just this reason, so when we do backup our data we make sure that we only get the pertinent information from the files before we shut the doors and lock them again. However as you can see this is a double edged sword.

As I write this letter our admin and coding team are putting together safe guards from this happening again.

I would ask that all comments and questions be limited to this thread only rather than being spread throughout he forum.

I was worried about this, a friend of mine who referred me here said there was a comprise in the security & privacy throughout the site and it's members!

1 thing is for sure- information is never lost. It may be re-assembled, re-arranged- but it's their. Like t.v. - waves go out dis-assemble and juxtaposed and come back to your t.v. reassembled.

Almost the same principle...but what is fact is information is never lost, speaking from a physicist point of view. I'm no computer programmer or coder.....but whoevr has been hacking has info. they want & can disseminate.

I going to be very careful about how I post, that's my only advice.

As a new member I just thought I'd put my 2 cents in.
