Hey Raider, damn youre pumping out those harvests! Good shit dude!

I hear good things about the JTR, im just worried about it taking to long to finish.

A lot of the JTR i've seen is "finished" but still looks premature. I'm gonna try some secret ingredients and try and get them to finish up and look more "complete".

The nugs are HUGE, though.
I would love to know the secret..my pk does something similar..it will look finished and still have new hairs popin out of the sides of the buds.

Hey Raider.
Honestly, I dont have to much experience with everything but from what I have seen, the best way to get a good ripened plant can be achieved by doing a couple of things.

First off, I think the best way to get the correct flowering period is feeding the plant the correct things, at the correct times.

For instance, on an 8 week strain (56 day) I think I would run a couple of additives with any base I am using.. Maybe something to trigger flowering / stop the stretch so the buds can start forming as soon as possible...I've ran Open Sesame from Fox Farm about a week before flower started, like it suggests.. It is similar to Bushmaster, in which both can kill your plant if not applied correctly. If I were to do it again, I would only feed about 4-5 days before flower began, because once I made the flip, the plants went from DEATH looking, to perfectly perky and happy..

So, getting those initial nodes/bud sites SET and IN PLACE as quick as possible, really is great for allowing more time for the buds to grow in size, rather then find there place...Something like "BLOOM - Ultra" made by BLOOM, aka THE YELLOW BOTTLE.
"Bloom ULTRA triggers flower development fast, increasing flower set. Formulated around nucleic acids bloom ULTRA stimulates uniform flower development over the entire plant with greatly increased development on lower branches. This trait combined with a reduced flowering stretch ensures uniform crop development leading to higher yields and improved quality without the use of Plant Growth Regulators."

See?

Obviously feed some additives throughout weeks 3-4.5, where the buds really begin to pack on weight.. For that, I like Advanced Nutrients big bud -- works wonders...they'll pack on the weight and resin production.

For the finishing weeks, I like something that will tell my plants, "Ok bitches, 7th inning stretch is here...lets get er done!" .. A product that I have used that works good for me is Overdrive.. I would apply Overdrive in the last two weeks of my cycle, ensuring I'll still have a proper flush.. Weeks 5-7, and flush Days 49-56. (in hydro) - This product really brings out all the sugars and such, making those white hairs turn into actual buds and get nice and calyx like.

not only is a good finish product involved in additives, but knowing when you have just enough nitrogen the plant cant finish its cycle off without wanting nitrogen..with a nice, pale, yellow, flushed fan leaves and nice green buds...one of the most difficult parts.

Hope this was helpful. I got a PPM / PH meter and the PH part came incorretly calibrated from the factory and is useless, but I can now check my PPM's and feed the plants what the want.

Last night I fed @ 1450 PPM more then double what I was feeding them (didnt have PPM meter before, so was going light)
We'll see how they turn out come lights on.

Great explanation man. I just picked up some Bloom Yellow bottle products, but i didn't get the Ultra because I thoughtI was too late to use it, but plan on trying next run. I get the whole thing on giving them what they need when they need it. I am still trying to figure all this shit out myself. You are always full of great information my friend and I fro one appreciate it and have learned much from your posts.
Very nice on the big dose, I am glad they responded well man. :)

This is my best one in the room -- perfect canopy, nice and thick... some of the others are finally starting to catch up but im using her as a model so the others have more motivation to catch up,

That was a Supercrop/TOP. I topped her late, and supercropped the rest. I'll take a picture of her stalk, all beat up.

Here you go. You can see the bottom branches are just as tall as the top top colas .
Sorry you have to witness the PM.. I'm getting a good spray for her, then running a sulphur burner, then treating her one more time, then flipping.

Hey Bterz, have you grown under 1000w-ers before? I am thinking of maybe going to 6 600w, but am wondering what the decrease in yeild will be per light and if it would be worth making the switch to 600.

oh my bad i havent been around enough to checkin and see which method u did i just assumed u FIMmed again. came out great for supercrop tho. mite have to reconsider doin a FIM myself.
sorry to hear about the PM. had that issue as well and tossed my old moms that had it but uve got to do wat u can to save ur entire crop so best of luck! im sure ull get it done

tryin to pull a boomer or wat raider? 8)
600s have more lumen per watt conversion and can be lowered closer to the canopy. also having more lamps creates more hotspots for the plants to grow towards. also ull get higher yields if u stack the 600s together so theyre right on top of each other. it will increase ur yield IMO over having less 1000w. (unless ure planning on doin 6x1000w then thats balls out haha) anyways i should prob just jump over to ur thread since its been awhile.

Hey brotha. I fimmed a couple different ones ill look for a couple and take some pictures.

As for the 1000 watters go, it depends on your other equipment.

I would run 4, 1000w over 6, 600w's anyday.

With the big 1000w's, the hood is raised but the coverage area compared to a 600w is just huge. 9sq ft vs 16 sq ft+

The new XXXL Magnums are expensive but awesome for the 1000w's, if I were to start over, thats the route I'd go.

I'll stop by both your threads soon!

Take care & Peace!

Looking Great! I have an 800 watt Mini SOG going on right now myself. SOG is hard work but very rewarding.

love the even branch heighth on that plant man :-)

what do you spray them with to help with PM?
Apparently my spray isn't doing SHT to help the PM! LOL!

I"ve heard of some stuff called Eagle20 I am going to try..supposedly kills that shit on contact, only needed once, but a second spray is safe.

I'm going to spray them 5 days before flower, and then one more day before 12/12.

I will then spray them once more with a safe organic preventative a couple times before buds are set in place.

I'm going to chop these and find different cuts after I finish the flower. These never had PM until I stuffed 60 in 1 dome, then spores started popping up randomly in that dome and the pm has been around since.

Anyways, I forgot to water the past two days and I went in there and they were NOT happy lol. I watered last night, going to again tonight as im sure they're sucking that stuff up fast.

I'lll go snap a lights off picture for everyone.
