Rockwool preparation - how much nutes?

It's my first time using rockwool, I got grodan 1 inch cubes.

I know I have to soak for 24 hours and stabilize it at 5.5ph. I use GH nutes, my question is how much should I add per gallon for the initial soak?

1" starter cubes can soak in pH downed water for like 10 minutes, structural integrity on those little things may be suspect if they soaked 24 hrs. A big momma cube doesn't even need more than an hour or so -- warm water helps at this stage.
  • better to qualify a statement with "I think" than "I know" followed by something questionable. imo, fwiw.
    • when you're getting started, you may have to rethink your entire approach or just make a few minor tweaks.
      • practice.
personally, I prefer starting in 3"x3"x2.5" cubes. personal preference.

I used the 2 inch cube, only soaking for 15 minutes in ph water
with no problem. Important: Don't squeeze it, just one good
semi hard shake to get excess water out. Some folks wear a
glove to handle the cube { I didn't, but was careful to hold by
plastic band.}

The tap root comes out the bottom pretty quick so after germination the cube goes into the netpot.Then food into your system.
I normally ran a small tote with 4 net pots in the lid,dwc, so airstone.Soak the cube, drop the seed done.Roots would be out the net pots in about 7-10 days then Id move to the main system.
