the worse is when you use the search enginge for a specific question, and u see it there in the list and it has 55 replies and u think awesome with all those replies ill find exactly what im looking for, so u click on it and the 1st guys responce was a smart ass and then the rest of the 54 repleis were just ppl putting shit on each other.

from my own experience id say the first year or so of being here i learned like a sponge everything i could and i know im not gods gift to pot but im no noob anymore, once you reach that plateau RIU becomes like facebook for dopefiends i try n give back where i can but mostly keep up with mates grows and the odd funny thread. point is RIU is what you make it. post funny shit if it makes your day. im with the OP bout the kids though theres been a high influx lately but really your just getting old man younguns and their slang grinding your gears all day sounds like you aged to me!?

yeah it has got really really bad . . . . to the point where only a few threads attract my attention nowadays . . .

Hey guys I'm not sure where to post this, so the middle of this thread that has nothing to do with my question will work...

I got this rash last week that won't go away. I've been having a lot of unprotected sex lately so I'm worried it might be herpes. It's probably just a reaction to the new fabric softener I've been using, but you can never be too careful these days...

Also, I heard if you drive a couple candy canes into soil like spikes with only the top sticking out it will make your weed taste like peppermint. Is that true?

This is my first time joining a forum. I'm not completely sure how to do everything on here but I joined because I read a lot from older members that seem to know there stuff. I can pretty much surf the web at best. I understand what you guys are talking about though, I haven't even finished my first grow and have new members swamping me with questions they could have easily looked up for themselves and every other person on here is trying to promote stuff that I don't need to buy. In fact I just learned what a "Troll" was 2 day ago. Also, people that have never grown anything but Marijuana in a closet should NOT be giving any kind of growing advice to anyone, ever.

Exactly Slim, I recall a thread a while back where some kid was asking "what are / were the best ways to exact revenge on his bullies" ...really???? Many adults posted in the thread trying to "talk him down" so to speak, lol, but for the most part, it was more kids telling him how and what to do....or shittin' on him. Kodank...it's just a sign of the times I guess...+Rep though, cause I don't post as much as I'd like to because of the Tom Foolery

What about the dude who posts a topic at like 9:35 pm and then comes back at like 9:50 pm like "bump...anybody" ...lol, then they wait a few days later and post again with "I guess this site isn't as helpful as I thought it would be" ...days have went by and you could have read and learned it, but you wanted somebody to hand it to ya...AMAZING! It's like a direct reflection of AMERICA!

Ya know, i love how these threads always seem to bring people out of nowhere that i had no idea were still here in. I've seen more older members here on this thread than i have in the last couple weeks on the forum elsewhere. Glad to see some of you are still around.

Because we all know that posting isn't worth logging in. I mean there is literally a thread one person...ganja girl....has posted in up to 4 pages of the most least funny shit I have seen in a while. It's insane. Good to see people are still around...I thought I was the only one...

i noticed the site died down quite a bit after they changed the whole layout of it. but theres just nothing new anymore..i hardly come on RIU anymore, simply because there just isnt much going on...and it sucks because when i first joined and stuff, this place was awesome. i talked to people in the threads for hours. it hasnt been that way in a long long time
