Roofing material / pond liner?

Sorry if this question has already been asked, but the search doesnt work for me, my computer stalls?
Its brand new so it probably has some bugs , especially since i didnt buy a mac.

I was wondering if i could use a curb style channel or basin if you will to let my pots drain into.
Instead of using trays , build the entire table and line it with pond liner or roofing material to a drain.

Would this be the wrong material?

Feel free to tell me my head is in my rear, i know ..

suppose it's possible but a leak can ruin your house. There is though, a roofing material called TPO. It's the same thing they use for swimming pool liners. Comes in 4 -6ft wide rolls.

Thanks , im just wondering if the chemicals would work together.
Im thinking of building a table and pitching it to one said and building a curb around it.

Go to your local plumbing store (not homedepot or lowes shit go where the contractors go)and ask for shower pan. Its a pvc liner that is very thick prolly 30mils or so. It is 5feet wide and sold by the foot you can get it as long as you want. Here is a pic of material.
