any enzyme will help (hygrozyme, cannazym, sensizym, prozyme)...enzyme eats dead root mass and turns it into nutrition for fresh roots

and get a chiller. temps at 75 or above is danger zone bro. Id say try to keep it at 70 or under, I don't like to dance with death lol

I concur with tootee. You need a chiller to keep constant temps in your res or you'll be in danger of losing your ladies..
If you can't afford one, freeze some water bottles and see how that holds up for you.

I just solved a bad case of brown slime algae. I lost 3 harvests and tried everything under the sun and the only thing that ended up working was the Heisenberg tea. https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka-2.html

It works for pretty much any root problems, whether you have pythium or brown slime or whatever. You can also run higher res temps so you don't necessarily need a chiller. Follow the simple recipe and you should be on your way to recovery. You will be pleasantly surprised with the root growth from this. Make sure to use non-chlorinated water or let the tap water sit out for 24 hours before making the tea. I made that mistake the first time I tried it and it didn't work.

In my case I flushed the whole system with hydrogen peroxide and water for about 12 hours, then refill with water and the tea at the recommended dosage. I actually added my organic nutrients at the same time as the tea, but I think you are suppose to wait a bit so the bacteria and fungi can colonize your roots and get a foot hold. If you are running synthetic then it shouldn't matter. Check the roots every day, you are looking for new white shoots to start popping out. When you see those, you know it is working.

"I personally recommend using a supplement called Aquashield for root problems because I've used it successfully to get rid of a terrible case of Root Rot Aquashield is also much cheaper than most other similar root treatments and is proven to work well at supporting root health in cannabis. Take a look at root rot page to see pictures of how Aquashield was able to completely cure a terrible case of root rot.

Other examples of beneficial root supplements include Piranha, VooDoo Juice, Great White (Great White has great reviews, yet is obscenely expensive), Subculture B, Rooters, and Plant Savers. Most of these can be used with both hydro and soil grows.I personally recommend Aquashield because I've used it successfully to treat Root Rot (and it's also very affordably priced, you can use it throughout your grow without breaking the bank).
One important thing to note is that after you treat the cause of root problems, the old damaged leaves may never recover! With recovery, you should be looking for the problem to stop spreading, and for new leaves to be growing in green and healthy."

Yah enzymes will kill you if you have slime. It converts all the dead shit to food and feeds the slime. Do beneficial bacteria and you won't be sorry. I wish someone would have told me this 2 months ago.

Hi guys!
I was suffering from brown slime algae, and root rot was setting in. I lost my NYC Diesel due to root rot all the way up to the stem of my lil lady.
I tried bleach, h2o2, hygrozyme (at the suggestion of the hydroponics store (which made my algae problem exPLOde)), and flushing (such a waste!).
Trying to stay sterile was going to cost a LOT of money.

Then I stumbled upon Heisenberg's post about how to brew my own beneficial microbial tea.
WOW!
Let my pictures do the talking guys. I also state that I used roots XL, rapid start and voodoo juice (another root inoculant). For the second brew I also added hygrozyme to break down the crud that had died off and would cause problems.
So far, so GREAT!
Check it out guys.

I hope this helps!
