rotting stems

why in my DWC are all the plants having brown/white all over the main stem around the rockwool?

bad water or too moist?

I planted some of the free attitude seeds to see if they did this too and guess what they have the same problem

could be the pH level of the water you are using. not sure though.... ive never seen this problem before
