I see alot of rotties in sigs and avatars and was just wondering how many on here have one or more. I got 1.5 yr old female rott myself she's in my avatar and my grow journal. Just trying to see some more pics of some rotties and cool to know how many people share both of my hobbies/loves.

Hell just like my MJ I love them all so post a pic of what ever breed. I'm just bored and trying to see some pics and maybe some info on the dog.

I had a Rottie/Dobie for 17 years and she was the BOMB!! A great mix of strength and agility. I'm on the hunt for another one, but I limit myself strictly to "rescue' dogs....since they are in need.

I had a german shepard mix that was a pound puppy she was a great dog before she passed at 13yrs. The rottie I got from breeders pure bred but honestly sort of feel bad not getting another pound puppy because they are in more need.

Is that why you went with the cat? That's a hillarious pic. I'm just joking but seriously that's what always give rotties and other large breeds bad names. I can see that happening for sure but it's a sign of poor ownership imo. Sorry to hear that happened to ya.

That sounds more like something a Doberman would/could do.

I would like to meet the genius who thought it was a good idea to take one of the breeds of dogs that if not trained well could be a very dangerous animal, a Rottweiler, and bred it with the fastest dog around, a Greyhound, making a dog that could be very dangerous and one that is fast as hell too so you stand no chance of getting away from it.

All I could say to him would be ‘smooth move Gilligan.’

I had a black lab for about eight years, she was a good dog and I miss her. My dad's boss was going to kill her when she was a puppy because she was gun shy and didn't make a good hunting dog, so I took her off his hands. You can really get attached to animals more than people. lol

A long time ago, i was just a kid and our neighbors were German (he fought in a sub for the other side). They were great people none the less. They owned a German Shepard named Prince. There was a fence between us and at night i would take out the garbage. We owned a bunch of property with very big trees so the garbage can area was so dark and close to the fence. Now that dog KNEW it was me but would charge that fence like he was coming right through. Totally unnerving....

Another time I was invited over to their house and Karl (sub dude) kept telling me it was alright to climb the fence and use the pool (which had a separate fence)... uh huh...no chance. That was some dog. If Karl wasn't home his wife would have to put Prince in the basement if I came in. The entire time was scratching and snarling... Kathy (she was stunning) would laugh it off, but i was still nervous...how strong is that door?
